Troubled by sex dreams, Linda relates to her psychiatrist her latest nightmare in which she is compelled to make love with a deformed dwarf. She admits to the psychiatrist that, to her surprise, she actually liked the experience. In another dream, Linda has sex with a fish, and she recalls that the sensation was pleasurable. The psychiatrist diagnoses Linda's problem as fear of being unable to achieve orgasm, and he asks to see her boyfriend Johnny before he recommends a course of treatment. That night, Johnny and Linda have an argument in a nightclub when Linda, inspired by the decor, vividly imagines a Roman orgy. As a result, Linda visits a photographer, a lesbian who seduces her, thus jolting her back to reality. Johnny returns to Linda's apartment, makes love to her, and apologetically offers to go to the psychiatrist to help with her therapy, but she coyly denies having a problem.
