29-year-old Will Gaffney, a stand-in for actor David Morse, was killed and five extras were injured on Sunday, April 9, 2000, when the pick-up truck they were riding in accidentally plunged off a mountain road during 2nd unit photography. Gaffney was an American teacher living in Ecuador.
